Hopkins on board as The Drum’s new agony uncle

Former JDA chairman Carl Hopkins, who recently sold his business to The Direct Marketing Group, is to write a regular column for The Drum. Starting in our next issue the column will take the form of an agency agony uncle spot.

Hopkins has now issued a call for input from readers: “I need questions,” he said. “Questions about agency life. The struggles, challenges and concerns. The queries and situations that arise when dealing with clients, staff, suppliers, trade bodies, pitches, appraisals, banks, irate directors, even wives…

“And every two weeks Agency Agony Uncle Carl will seek to answer them in an honest and forthright fashion based on my own experiences.”
