AVC acquires Aberdeen PR agency as expansion into new sectors continues

AVC Media has announced that it has merged with Aberdeen-based PR consultancy, PR Partnership.

Retaining its name, the PR consultancy will become a fully-owned subsidiary of AVC alongside AVC Brand Advertising and Remote Data Services.

The consultancy will now relocate to AVC’s purpose built offices in Aberdeen, which is also about to undergo a £3m redevelopment and extension.

Neil Robertson, director of PR Partnership, explained: “We recently completed the buy-back of shares from our former sister company, as the first stage in a development plan to meet our aspirations and future potential.”

Spencer Buchan, director of AVC, added: “We have been developing the services at AVC with the aim to provide our clients with a full, integrated communications service.”

AVC also recently opened an office in Edinburgh.
