All Manchester shoot-out expected for Britannia pitch

Four Manchester-based agencies are expected to pitch for Britannia Building Society’s below-the-line marketing account before Christmas.

According to industry speculation, the all-Manchester shoot-out is expected to include Cheetham Bell JWT, BJL, TBWA\\Manchester and McCann Erickson Communications House.

Britannia would not be drawn on whether its advertising account is also up for grabs but confirmed to The Drum that it is reviewing its direct marketing activity.

McCann’s Manchester launched two new TV ads for the building society earlier this year, Britannia’s first TV advertising for over three years.
