Scottish Government tender goes live

As a result of the expanded brief the number of agencies servicing the sought after business could now rise to as many as 30.

Despite the dramatic increase in the number of agencies, Roger Williams, the Scottish Government's head of marketing, has stated that the budget invested by the Government will not increase.

The tender for the new "creative agencies" framework contract has an estimated value of between £40 million to £80 million by all the users over the 43 months of the contract period.

It is understood that several new public sector organisations are set to join the process including SEPA, Scottish National Heritage, and Caledonian MacBrayne.
