Sumo appointed by T&W Museums

Digital / England & Wales

Tyne and Wear Museums has selected Newcastle-based design agency Sumo to provide web development and hosting to the organisation until 2010, following a competitive tender.

The contract will see Sumo redevelop the websites for Tyne and Wear Museums’ 11 venues, which are expected to launch in March. The Sumo team will also be responsible for a number of new educational and promotional websites for the organisation and ongoing technical support.

Tyne & Wear Museums is England’s largest regional museums service, running 11 museums and galleries in North East England. Sumo has worked with Tyne and Wear Museums for the past five years, developing brand, marketing and websites.
