Circuit Series to debate 'north-south design divide'

Manchester's Circuit Series is to tackle 'the north-south design divide' at its next evening of debate.

With the BBC's move to Salford and Liverpool's status as Capital of Culture, opportunities should be ripe for the north's best design talent.

But is geographic location relevant to the creative industries? Is there an advantage to being in the south when it comes to business and employment opportunities? Does the output from London and northern creative agencies differ? As a client, where do you get the better deal?

You can have your say on these issues at the event on 25 March, 6.30pm at the Circle Club, Barton Arcade Manchester. To attend email: rsvp@thecircuitseries.com.

I don't think North and South are in conflict. Agencies all over the country have proved that. The biggest issue is London v. Rest of Country. And that's more about perception than reality.
