Desktop host Nasstar gets Iris relaunch
Digital / England & Wales
Naastar, the hosted desktop provider that enables its customers to access their computer desktops securely from anywhere, is undertaking a brand relaunch that will aim to define the category to a new audience outside of the IT sector.
Devised by Iris Manchester, the first part of the relaunch will go live this week with website, www.nasstar.com aimed at positioning the brand as a market leader in what it calls the rapidly emerging ‘cloud computing’ sector.
Nasstar’s service enables users to log on and access their entire computer desktop remotely, from any computer in the world. From software applications to archived data to communication tools – all that is required is an internet connection.
The website project, ‘Work Outside of the Box’, acknowledges the relevance of this technology to a wider audience, namely key decision makers within the business arena. The agency says it has opted for animation on the website to eschew the usual drier approach of technology sites.
In addition to outlining the product, the website allows visitors to sign up to a seven-day trial of the service and even get a 30-second quote on behalf of their business.
Pete Armstrong, creative director of Iris Manchester, said: "Nasstar is a pioneering brand that will bring about an evolution in the way people, and businesses at large, work. It was important to us that this step change in business convention should be reflected in a standout website."
Further activity for the firm - both online and offline – is planned by Iris.
