Smokefree North West appoints Trimedia

Trimedia has been appointed to raise the profile of Smokefree North West, a regional initative aimed at stubbing out smoking in youngsters.

Trimedia’s Manchester office will lead the initial 10-week programme of community engagement, profile raising and advertising for Smokefree North West. This will involve working with partners from the Department of Health, NHS organisations and other agencies involved in tobacco control and smoking reduction across the region.

The agency said it won the project "as a result of a competitive proposal submission".

Sarah Dean Forrester, Associate Director at Trimedia, said: "It’s great to get the opportunity to work with Smokefree North West, particularly around protecting the future of children and young people in the region."
