Global Radio Sales takes top gong at The Drum Media Awards

Global Radio Sales has been crowned Media Sales Team of the Year at The Drum Media Awards 2008, while News International’s Adam Whitehurst took home the Media Salesperson of the Year prize.

This year’s event, held last night at Manchester’s Hilton Hotel, saw new marketing awards added to the format for 2008.

In the new categories, Promotion of the Year went to Media Sales Network for Simply Be; Client Pitch of the Year was scooped by News International for The Times & Liverpool Culture Co; Daily Telegraph won Product Launch of the Year for Home In; while CBS Outdoor pocketed Innovation of the Year for Regional Agency Residencies and Marketing Campaign of the Year for Three Minute Activity.
