Wonder handles Imperial War Museum North exhibition work

Manchester-based agency Wonder Associates has designed the marketing campaign for Imperial War Museum North's latest exhibition.

Following a four-way pitch, Wonder has designed all marketing materials, including outdoor and press advertising, promotional print and direct mail. The exhibition is based on the popular children's series Horrible Histories; it marks the 90th anniversary of the end of the First World War.

Wonder Associates has used a combination of Horrible Histories characters and a newly commissioned illustration of the museum to create a playful marketing campaign, aimed at standing out to the target audience of children and their parents.

The direct mail consists of a pullout Terrible Trench Theatre and Limited Edition Collectable Cards. Wonder has also used statically charged die-cut print which clings to any surface to distribute the marketing message through life-sized rats.
