Beattie wins shopping centre PR account

Glasgow shopping centre, Buchannan Galleries has moved its consumer PR account to Beattie Communication having previously been with rival agency, DADA.

The PR agency was appointed without a pitch and will work alongside its current marketing services agencies, The Leith agency and Blonde. An integrated approach will be adopted, ensuring PR activity ties in with both the advertising campaign and online activity.

Meanwhile, the agency has also been appointed to supply PR support to Taypack Potatoes, the Perthshire-based potato processing company which recently ended a £32m a year supply contract with Asda in an attempt to protect the long-term sustainability of the company and its growers.
