BrewDog, has developed a limited edition stout set to become one of the most expensive beers in the world.

Dundee-based designer Johanna Basford has created limited edition labels for each of the 200 bottles.

Every label has been individually silk screen printed using hand-blended inks in rich gold lacquer and inky black gloss. The special edition will be the first beer in the world to have a hand printed label.

There is a big difference between hand painted and hand printed, 10 up on a screen, 20 sheets, and I'm pretty sure small beer producers somewhere will be using HAND PAINTED (PRINTED) labels, so I doubt that's a first. I'd get the Portman group to have a look at this. I myself sell carrots individually stamped with my John Bull printing set...so there.
