New MD for the Thinking Agency

The Thinking Agency has appointed a new managing director and formed a new board of directors.

Long-term business partners, Robert Allwood and James Eate, have now stepped back from the day-to-day running of the agency. The reins have been handed to Lee Grasby, who has 10 years’ experience at regional agencies including Charles Walls and Outside the Box, as well as four years spent as marketing manager for National Australia Bank.

The new board of directors include Jon Murray, the company’s creative director since 2000 and Chris Batt, studio manager, who has been with the agency for over 21 years. Lucy Dunn, a qualified chartered accountant with over 22 years’ experience, is financial director and has, more recently, taken on the role of HR co-ordinator for the agency. Tony Driver and Ned Chapman complete the new management line up.

Allwood and Eate will remain involved with the business in the role of joint Chairmen.
