The Foundry appointed to support Diabetes Care Programme

The Foundry has been appointed by diabetes diagnostics company Owen Mumford, to support its educational Diabetes Care Programme.

The nationwide programme provides in-house training to care home staff responsible for residents with diabetes.

To launch the programme, The Foundry designed recruitment leaflets for Owen Mumford’s stand at Diabetes UK. To support the Diabetes Care Programme itself, the agency has designed comprehensive training materials for the care homes including educational folders and training certificates.

An advertising campaign will run for three months from June to September, targeting key care home press and in addition, a mailer inviting participation in the programme has been designed and distributed.

Kevin Murphy, The Foundry’s managing and creative director, said: “Despite the fact that almost one third of care home residents suffer with diabetes most staff are not formally trained in testing or treatment. The campaign we’ve designed is targeted directly at these members of staff, inviting them to participate in free in-house training to help increase their confidence with such residents."
