Frame becomes first Scots agency to win UK Marketing Society Award

Glasgow advertising agency Frame was celebrating last week having become the first Scottish advertising agency to win a prize at the UK’s Marketing Excellence awards in London.

The agency picked up the International Development Award (SME) for its work with client Berry Bros & Rudd for malt Whisky brand, The Glenrothes.

Collecting the award on the evening was Gillian McGhee, account director at Frame, who wrote the winning paper alongside Luke Tegner, marketing manager from Berry Brothers and Rudd.

As the brand didn’t have budget for advertising, the agency implemented a global word of mouth marketing strategy, resulting in The Glenrothes becoming the world’s fastest growing single malt whisky.
