Hookson creates home report for new joint venture

Hookson has been appointed to launch the web-based Home Report service for a joint venture between Surveyors Panel Management (SPM) and Millar & Bryce.

Home Reports, the Scottish equivalent to HIPs south of the border, will become a mandatory legal requirement after 1 December and will be the biggest shake-up of the home survey system ever seen in Scotland.

From December it will be mandatory for all property – with the exception of new build houses – marketed for sale to have a Home Report available for purchasers.

Hookson was appointed after a competitive pitch to create an integrated launch campaign to cover the identity and positioning for the new venture, which is to be known as OpenHouse.
