Scottish Government confirms ITT will be issued in two weeks

The Scottish Government has contacted the marketing agencies involved in its creative roster tender following an approach by The Drum on its behalf for a deadline for the ITT to be issued.

Yesterday, it played a little part in ensuring that, once again, the marketing industry was kept informed when it approached the Government as to the reason why the Invitation to Tender (ITT) for its creative roster has not yet been released.

It was, after all, expected last month following the much delayed initial Pre-Qualifying Questionnaire stage.

Within just a couple of hours of the query, the Government sent an email, from Darren Russell in the procurement department, to all agencies involved in the ITT to confirmed that it would be posted on the eSourcing system within the next couple of weeks although and exact date was still unconfirmed.

A statement was also issued to The Drum which read: “We have, this afternoon, issued an e-mail to the shortlisted suppliers advising that we are aiming to issue the ITT document within the next two weeks.”
