The Drum has learned that Glen Gribbon is to join out of hours emergency vetinary care company Vets Now Emergency as managing director when he leaves his role at Three Sixty.

As revealed online by The Drum earlier this month, Chartered Brands has undergone a management buy out which has seen the company change its name to Three Sixty.

The MBO was initially led by Gribbon, who pulled out at the last minute when offered the chance to work with Vets Now, leaving the way for his former Whyte and Mackay colleague Phillip Craig to step in and complete the process, taking up the role of MD.

Gribbon is to stay on at Three Sixty until 1 September as he and Craig complete handover discussions on his role.

Gribbon told The Drum; “I am joining what I think is a fantastic business called Vets Now as managing director. It's a great example of a very successful business/brand that has grown very quickly without being very high profile in the marketing world.”

Lisa Robb, marketing manager for Vets Now explained: This is a new position. The business was started in 2001 by Richard Dixon, out current MD. Since then we have grown quite quickly and since then we have grown quite quickly with 32 clinics around the country. The core business was emergency out of hours clinics and we’re now launching a pet ambulance service across the UK as well. We’re still opening new clinics as well.

"Richard as an entrepreneur is now looking to go and explore new

opportunities to extend the business and therefore the position that

Glen will take will be that of MD for Vets Now Emergency, driving it

forward in the market place.”
