Pure Artwork to aid creation of The Great North Museum Project

The Great North Museum Project in Newcastle Upon Tyne has appointed production company Pure Artwork to work alongside a London design agency on the implementation of its design guidelines.

The Leeds based company will aid Nick Bell Design in creating the wayfinding and displays for the £26million redevelopment of the Hancock Museum, which will bring together collections from three existing museums – the Hancock Museum, the Shefton Museum and the Museum of Antiques. The fourth partner, The Hatton Gallery will remain at its current venue although it will be managed by the Great North Museum.
