Powerleague, the AIM listed 5-a-side football centre chain has appointed Glasgow-based Nation1 to a two year digital contract following a four-way pitch.

Powerleague and Nation1 aim to redefine the brand’s online proposition and drive more users to the network of national centres that now includes Soccerdomes – a recent acquisition from JJB.

Andrew Grant, managing director of Nation1, said of the appointment: “It’s a great buzz for the whole agency when you win a big contract against some stiff London competition, but it’s all the better when you are given the opportunity to create something totally unique.”

Meanwhile, the agency has also recently completed the online store for www.freeflowcycles.com, with a ‘build a bike’ function allowing customers to build and price their own custom bike.
