Creative Review: Jennifer Burgos, Aardman Rights

MICHON
DE MONTFORD UNIVERSITY (TV & POSTER CAMPAIGN)
Posters and TV hang together well because of the strong visual idea. Shame the voice over was written by the client, or so it sounds. Having said that, I think the target market will remember and respond to it.  7/10

CRAVENS
NEWCASTLE FALCONS (VIRAL AND DM)
Love the way it was shot and edited, but I didn’t get the gag. A gripping start and well paced. Nice to see a commercial with only one idea in it.  5/10

LEWIS CREATIVE
GLENMUIR (2009 TRADE BROCHURE)
At last, a catalogue with great big whopping colour swatches! The re-touching leaves a lot to be desired. However, I am sure that golfers from Guadalmina thru to St Andrews will love it. That is if they get past the insulting strapline ‘for Europe’s elite and for you’.  7/10

TEVIOT
SCOTTISH REFUGEE COUNCIL (REFUGEE WEEK SCOTLAND 2008 LITERATURE)
It’s always easy to score with charity work, however, inside is well laid out and clear. Solid to the touch; a serious brochure. Coloured type is great, but not when it gets to 12/14 point. Interested in the concept - but is it necessary to put the target audience on the cover?  8/10
