Forth says digital marketing the way forward in troubled times

I'm writing this at the end of one of the most dramatic weeks for financial turbulence and economic uncertainty in (my) living memory. What with Icelandic banks going under (taking savers hard earned cash with them), and with the FTSE tracking well under 4000 - is now the time for brands to baton down the hatches, keep their heads down and above all, stick to traditional advertising models?
