Direct marketing agency, Tangible has been working with Stagecoach to develop a six figure marketing campaign which aims to increase awareness of the savings commuters can make simply by taking the bus instead of the car.

The agency has created a series of press and radio ads that maximise the findings from a recent Stagecoach survey which found that commuters taking the bus could save up to £3,000 per year compared with costs of petrol and parking.

The creative route uses animation to execute the message, identifying the tangible financial benefits to car users of swapping to the bus with the ultimate aim of driving sales of the Stagecoach megarider pass.

The campaign launched on 6 October with a series of national press ads and heavyweight local radio. The campaign will also feature on fuel nozzles at petrol stations throughout the country.  Tangible is also working on a second stage direct marketing campaign to be executed in January.
