The National Trust has appointed Guerilla to communicate its plans to reduce the carbon footprint at its Wallington Estate over the next three years.

The Trust is looking to reduce its carbon footprint through the use of energy efficient light bulbs, insulation use across the estate and the conservation of carbon stored within soil and woodland.

As a result, Guerilla has created a 3D environment by designing and re-fitting the whole of the visitor centre using renewable and eco-friendly products.

The room was built from the ground upwards using ecologique, similar to MDF but containing no harmful formaldrohyde.

The agency then hand-built interactive features to appeal to families and children to demonstrate the different ways of reducing the carbon footprint, an example included a tree that opened up to reveal interesting facts about the estate’s wildlife.
