Golley Slater Cardiff has entered into a consultation process with staff which may result in a 'small number of redundancies', The Drum has learned.

According to a spokesperson, the bleak global economic conditions have forced the agency into a review – which is now underway - although no redundancies have yet been made.

Nick Brown, Golley Slater group communications and PR development director, explained: “We are not immune to global market forces unfortunately and regrettably, like many other businesses in the world currently, we are having to review our position. This has resulted in a consultation process with our staff where a small number of redundancies in Cardiff are possible.

"However, no redundancies have yet taken place as we are obviously in a consultation period whereby we will try and avoid making any redundancies. We can not comment on individuals who may be affected, this is private and confidential.”

Golley Slater provides advertising, marketing and PR from 11 offices nationwide.
