Weesleekit has launched a new website to promote a collaborative project between international artist Andy Goldsworthy and 12 partner agencies.

The site at Cairnhead, near Moniaive in Dumfries and Galloway, titled Striding Arches, has a series of grand, self-supporting arches standing on hilltops surrounding the natural amphitheatre at Cairnhead – is the first of Goldsworthy’s large-scale projects involving multiple structures to be installed in a public landscape in Scotland.

The website contains a 15 minute video interview with Andy Goldsworthy, talking about the project, interactive maps, Quicktime VR, timelapse movie, natural sounds and a documented fell run video (hand held camera by runner) which took place on the launch of the site.
