Discounter Aldi has launched a travel website offering holidays at affordable prices.

Marketing for Aldi travel will be handled by its appointed agency McCann Erickson Manchester, while the PR promotion is being handled by the Manchester office of Weber Shandwick.

 The website will offer holidaymaker’s stylish accommodation in a range of hand picked quality hotels with special deals available in the in store dedicated travel leaflet and online at www.alditravel.co.uk on a fortnightly basis.

Sarah Butler from Aldi Travel said: “Aldi travel will offer selected best value deals to the most popular destinations.  In the current climate offering quality holidays for less, through a trusted brand means holidaymakers can rest assured their holiday will be a memorable one.”

Aldi Travel will launch 8th January 2009 and holidays will be available to travel from January onwards and include some great deals for summer 2009.
