An entrepreneur who appeared on TV show Dragons' Den has enlisted Citypress to launch his latest invention, Illoom - a range of balloons with built in LED lights.

James Halliburton initially accepted a £200,000 investment from Theo Paphitis and Peter Jones after showcasing his first invention, WaterBuoy, on the BBC show. But he changed his mind when the time came to sign contracts and instead went it alone and secured national listings for the product in the UK and USA.

Crewe-based Halliburton has reached sales of half a million for his Illoom invention through a national listing with Tesco. After securing global interest from retailers and brands, he is now investing in his production facility in China, which currently employs 20 people full time.

Citypress managing director, Charles Tattersall, said, "We're helping James to tell his story in order to drive consumer interest in his Illoom product range. He's got big plans for Illoom and we're excited about working with him to build on the initial commercial success of the product."
