Two episodes from a series of one minute animations described as ‘Rab C Nesbit meets Shameless’ have begun running on 4mations.

Neddy Bear is a series created by Let’sMakeStuffTogether and written and director by senior creatives at Newhaven, Chris Watson and Rufus Wedderburn and produced by Rhona Drummond.

Dave Ferguson was the animator on the series.

The studio is one of only 12 to be selected to provide content for the launch of 4mations.

The series follows the trials and tribulations of a teddy bear who is far from cuddly and hates pretending to be cute when he finished work and returns to Toyland. He must then learn to deal with the trials of life such as drinking too much, trying to pay the bulls and trying to avoid trouble with the law.  

Neddy Bear is voiced by Brian McCardie who has starred in films such as Rob Roy and Speed 2 and television dramas like Murphy's Law opposite James Nesbitt and Low Winter Sun with Mark Strong.
