Tayburn has recruited Richard Simpson to head up its business development. A well know figure within the industry, he has been brought on board to help develop Tayburn’s business across Scotland and provide support to its Manchester office.

Having previously worked at Elmwood for three years, Simpson’s remit involves communicating Tayburn’s credentials. He most recently worked at design agency Crombie Anderson.

At almost 30 years old, Tayburn has built a reputation as a corporate reporting, corporate identity and brand packaging specialist. The agency works with a number of big brand names, such as Royal Bank of Scotland, Diageo, Princes, Scottish & Newcastle and Scottish and Southern Energy.

“This is a great opportunity to work with one of the industry’s most renowned agencies”, said 31 year old Richard. “There is a clear vision about what the company wants to achieve in the next five years and it’s exciting to be part of that journey.”

Simon Farrell, managing director at Tayburn, added: “Richard’s experience will help take the business to the next level as we continue our expansion strategy. He has an impressive track record within the business development arena and I have no doubt his knowledge of the sector will assist us in communicating Tayburn’s service offer.”
