Newcastle based Guerilla has appointed a new director of public relations alongside three other new recruits.

Heather Bell has joined the agency in the new role to head up the agency’s new PR division Guerilla Propaganda.

Bell has previously held roles at ABC Television Networks in Seattle, the American Red Cross and the California-based CCN USA. She has also worked in post-production at Clear Cut Pictures in London.

Also joining the agency are Joanne Elliott and Matthew Ellison as account managers and Rob Palmer as website designer.

Elliot will provide support for Northumbrian Water while Ellison will work alongside Bell on the nationwide Rowlands Pharmacy, and Palmer will spearhead the digital design solutions for Holland and Barrett.

“We undertook much consideration before hiring new staff, to ensure that they met the needs of a consistently growing company”, said James Allen, managing director of Guerilla.

“We have faith that they will develop alongside the company as well as lend their many skills to Guerilla, producing results and satisfied clients.”
