Following a five way pitch, Twycross Zoo has appointed the Birmingham office of Golley Slater to handle its advertising and media.
The Warwickshire zoo, which is home to over 1,000 animals including the chimpanzees who featured in the PG Tips TV ads will see its first campaign by its new agency run before Easter.
Andy Walton, managing director of Golley Slater Advertising, said: "Work in this sector is so predictable. This will be very different. Having spent modestly in recent years, the zoo is preparing a major re-launch to coincide with a series of major developments at the zoo during 2009."
