Microsoft film created by Rebel Virals

A new viral has been created for Microsoft by Bristol based viral film production company Rebel Virals.

The viral has been designed to attract partners to the newly-revamped Microsoft Partner Network (www.microsoftpartnernetwork.co.uk and will target a specialist B2B market.

Through the use of social networking the new Microsoft Partner Network aims to provide the opportunity for partners to collaborate online and receive support whenever they need it.

The video is set at the fictitious “Camp Network”, and includes all the stereotypical preconceptions that a network for IT professionals might entail. Miserable partners are cajoled through a range of outdoor obstacles and team-building exercises, such as climbing ‘the profitability ladder’, leveraging ‘the power triangle’ and building ‘the revenue raft’.

James Trezona, director of Rebel Virals, explained: “Viral is ideally suited to targeting these smaller, more specific communities. All the benefits of a viral B2C campaign still apply, but the content can be more relevant to the audience – appealing to their common experiences and drawing on in-jokes.”
