The Scotsman’s online presence has launched a new education and learning micro-site which will look to connect users to a number of opportunities at colleges, universities and training providers in Scotland.
The site will look to provide visitors with the opportunity of developing their career, to learn new skills or take up a new hobby through full-time and part time courses around the country.
It will also provide a new way for educational institutions to advertise their courses including Dundee’s Abertay University, Edinburgh’s Telford College and Moray College in Elgin.
An extensive print and digital promotional campaign is being implemented in order to drive traffic to the new micro-site, raise awareness and encourage further educational institutions to advertise their courses.
The site will be live for two months during this prime recruitment time and will return again in September.
Henry Faure Walker, general manager of Scotsman Publications which owns scotsman.com, said: “In print and online our education pages have a wide and loyal following, and we are looking to build on this strength by creating an easy-to-use platform for online users and a great tool for training providers to promote themselves.”
