The judging for The Drum Marketing Awards has now been completed with around 150 clients and agencies entering reports to be scrutinised by the high profile judging panel.

The panel – which was chaired by Keith Vernege, creative director for COI publications,  consisted of Simon Pestridge, Marketing Director, of Nike (UK); Nick Georgiadis, Head of Direct Marketing and Development, Cancer Research (UK); Peter Mooney Marketing Director, Maxxium; Chris Witte Head of Marketing, Kingspan Limited; Tom Potter Commercial Alliances, WilliamsF1; Martine Ainsworth-Wells Marketing Director of Visit London; and Mark Hardy Marketing Director of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe – nominated campaigns from almost 40 different clients and agencies.

Nunwood, IAS b2b Marketing and Tangerine were nominated in the Marketing Services Company of the Year, while Chris Harrop of Marshalls and Sera Miller of Material were nominated for Marketer of the Year.

Other categories include Re-brand/Re-launch of the Year, Best Design Strategy, Best Advertising Strategy and Best Sponsorship Strategy.

The Drum Marketing Awards gives a platform to both client companies and agencies to prove the value and effectiveness of their thinking.
