Following a four-way pitch, Triumph Motorcycles Ltd has appointed Cogent Elliot as its lead global creative agency.

As a result, Cogent Elliot has been tasked with providing the creative leadership and brand development for all of the client’s worldwide marketing communications.

This will include country specific national and local advertising, literature, DM, digital, deal sales support and POS material, press packs and launch planning.

The Birmingham based agency has already undertaken a major brand review which was part of the pitch process. It has continued the process after agreeing the creative direction for all future communications and will roll out to support its new Thunderbird in the Summer.

The marketing communications will involve nine different language versions of all marketing material including national and dealer press ads, dealer sales support, preview brochures and creative direction for all digital communications.

Cogent Elliot will also look to develop specific launch support materials for distributors and dealers across the world, including window vinyls, posters, table toppers, technical ‘silent salesmen’ and freestanding POS units. A comprehensive briefing document will also be created and sent to all markets to ensure that dealers are fully armed to launch the vehicle efficiently, accurately and consistently across the globe.
