UK bakery retailer Greggs is to launch some specially created products for Easter and has tasked Gratterpalm with creating the support POS activity.

The Leeds based agency which was appointed by Greggs last September has created the in-store campaign using the strapline ‘Easter delights’ alongside photography of the promotional products.

As well as the traditional hot cross buns, shops throughout the UK will offer bunny biscuits, mallow chicks, a newly-launched chicken and bacon lattice, and specially created Easter cupcakes and crispy nests made with Cadbury’s Mini Eggs.

The Easter campaign goes live on 15 March, at the same time as a separate Mother’s Day push, and will run until 12 April.

Gareth Healey, managing partner at Gratterpalm, said:  “Easter is incredibly important for Greggs, with its heritage in bakery – and of course, hot cross buns are the ultimate Easter food. With this campaign we are promoting Easter to all age groups and both genders, so we have delivered a highly visual campaign to entice people to come and get their Easter delights at Greggs.”
