Sports bra brand Shock Absorber has launched a microsite as it looks to launch a new range of swimwear for women.

The site, created by Iris Manchester will look to act as an online destination for visitors to find out more about the range and purchase the brands good online.

They can also opt to ‘tell a friend’ about the range, where an email is generated containing a link to the site.

The range will consist of a swimsuit, tankini, bikini, swim pant and swim short, which can all be purchased separately to allow women to mix and match, and all pieces come in a carbon grey, chlorine-resistant fabric with quick-drying inner and outer layers.

Julia Nolan, spokesperson for Shock Absorber, said: “Research shows that significant breast movement occurs in swimming, triathlon and other water-based sports, resulting in potential damage. We are delighted to support women by teaming our leading sports bra technology with performance swimwear, making it the first of its kind on the market.”

Pete Armstrong, creative director for iris Manchester, said: “The opportunity to be involved with any launch or first is always a bonus and because Shock Absorber was already a leader out of the water, we already had some solid foundations to build on. Also the project was the perfect blend of our sports marketing know-how and digital expertise.”
