The Drum understands that The Scottish Parliament has appointed The Union to create the advertising to promote its 10th anniversary celebrations.

It is understood that it has appointed the Edinburgh based advertising agency and ‘a media buying agency’ thought to be MediaCom as it gears up to celebrate 10 years of Scottish devolution later in the year.

A spokesperson for The Scottish Parliament did not wish to comment on the appointment but did confirm that The Union and a media buying agency had been appointed but that “they were not looking to publicise the appointment.”

A series of activities will be held through out the year which began last month when around 50 children born on the same day as the opening of the Parliament visited the building.
