Charlie Mann is set to step down from his role as director of Weber Shandwick’s Glasgow office and will leave the consultancy at the end of June.
He is being succeeded by David Sawyer, who will be promoted to director, join the Scottish board of the company and take responsibility for its Glasgow office.
Nora Senior, managing director Scotland and chairman, UK Regions and Ireland, said: “Charlie has been an integral part of developing our Glasgow business over the past five years and leaves behind a great team. He feels the time is right to move on to other challenges and we wish him every success for the future.
"I am delighted to welcome Dave to the senior management team. He is one of our most experienced media consultants and has an impressive track record of winning and growing new business. He will play a significant role in continuing to develop our Scottish business and in raising awareness of the consultancy's exciting new media offering."
A former journalist, David Sawyer has been with Weber Shandwick for more than seven years. He has been integral to the growth of the Glasgow office, where he is based, through his media relations work and business development activity, particularly in the environment, consumer and transport sectors.
