Liverpool-based lifestyle PR and marketing agency Think Publicity has brokered a deal for a clothing range by girlband The Saturdays for its client womenswear label, Rare.

Rare by The Saturdays will launch in June this year, the girls’ first foray into the design world.

Think will handle the entire PR and marketing campaign for the range, on top of its current remit for Rare which covers brand guardianship and all PR and marketing for the label’s wholesale and online operations.

The limited Rare by The Saturdays collection will form part of the brand’s transitional range.

Known for their "glam pop princess look", The Saturdays' collection will "explore biker chic and the days of the Hells Angels – studs and rivets detailing will feature, as well as continuing with strong themes from the 80s utilising colour and structure".

Think’s remit has also included developing the Rare by The Saturdays brand and its guidelines, which will run across a suite of tour merchandise, packaging and online marketing campaigns.

Phil Nixon, agency director, Think Publicity said: “We have had a great relationship with The Saturdays since the release of their first track. The girls epitomise the Rare brand and developing their own capsule collection for the label was the natural progression.

“We have worked with the Rare brand since its infancy and it’s a proud moment to see how far the brand has come and how it has developed into an in-demand high street fashion label.”
