Glasgow based advertising agency Frame has been appointed by Maxxium UK to lead the UK brand activation on The Famous Grouse.

As a result of the appointment, Frame will be tasked to work on several marketing initiatives across The Famous Grouse brand portfolio.

A spokesperson for Maxxium explained that Frame will handle the below the line promotional work which will include experiential.

Emma Heath , marketing controller at Maxxium UK, explained: “Having worked with Frame on The Glenrothes, we gave them a one-off project brief last year for The Famous Grouse’s Scottish campaign.  We were very impressed with the speed in which they understood the requirements of our brand and the work that they delivered.  We were confident in appointing Frame without a pitch and are really looking forward working with them on a long term basis."

Speaking to a friend at AMV in London it seems this appointment relates to mainly BTL activation via the UK distributors Maxxium vs the ATL advertising handled by Famous Grouse themselves working with AMV.

Still a great win for Frame...but glad to see you've ameded your original post

It is also worth pointing out that The Famous Grouse have other activities and communications that require agency support separately to Maxxium and the ATL work. These are commissioned by the brand team at The Famous Grouse, and I'm pleased to say they are also handled by a Scottish agency. I echo Don Smith's comment above and applaud Frame for a great win.
