Manchester creatives to get Under the InfluenceUnder the Influence, the creative gathering dubbed the 'thinking man's pub crawl', takes place tonight in Manchester.
It is the first time the event, which features guest lectures on the creative industry but in a casual pub setting, has been held in Manchester. Last year's inaugural Under the Influence was held in London pubs.
Organised by Iris and Contagious Magazine, tonight's speakers are sports marketing supremo Pete Draper, illustrator Si Scott and Contagious' contributing editor Mirage Islam.
Under the Influence kicks off at 6pm in the Atlas Bar on Deansgate. It's free, but anyone wanting to attend tonight had to pre-register on the Under the Influence website.
