COI reveals successful regional roster agencies

COI reveals successful regional roster agenciesCOI reveals successful regional roster agencies

The Central Office of Information has today announced that 45 agencies will be part of its new regional marketing roster. See the full list here.

The Regional Integrated Agency Framework has been created "in response to the demands of the COI's growing base of regional clients", the COI said.

It will be managed by the COI's Regional Client Account team (Regional CAT) and will run until April 2013.

A total of 205 agencies were considered for the roster and the COI said it saw more than 400 case studies during its review.

Phil Fraser, head of COI Regional CAT, said: "Clients are increasingly looking for agencies that can provide unique insight into what makes regional audiences tick and how to reach them.

"This framework allows us to provide in-depth regional support for clients who want to tap into that experience."

As to how to roster would work alongside the Scottish Government Marketing roster, a spokesperson explained: "The Scotland lot of the Regional Integrated Agency Framework is not connected to the Scottish Government framework which, as a devolved administration, is for their own business use.

"The lot has been designed to enable potential public sector clients in Scotland, including those not part of the Scottish Government, to access our framework and to make use of COI's expertise in procurement and management, as well as the benefits of our buying power."

The roster is divided into geographical lots. The successful agencies in each region were:

Something about this list doesn't quite ring true.

But, er, well done to Barkers Scotland for getting onto the Welsh COI roster!
