Four year project for MC2 after Ellesmere rebrand

Four year project for MC2 after Ellesmere rebrandFour year project for MC2 after Ellesmere rebrand

The re-brand for Ellesmere has been completed by Manchester based marketing and design agency MC2 as part of a wider marketing and communications campaign to encourage inward investment and business relocation to the area.

The four year project will see MC2 create a new brand identity alongside new marketing materials for the town including a micro-site, marketing literature and adverts.

All design work was created following a vision and values session facilitated by the PR team at MC2 which gave all partners the opportunity to discuss and agree on key messages for the campaign.

MC2 will also conduct a PR campaign to raise the profile of the town through the use of case studies, press releases and appropriate feature comment.

Glenn Jones, head of the design studio at MC2, commented: “Hosting the vision and values session meant that we got a clear brief as to the key messages that needed to be communicated as well as the image the partners want to portray.

“There are loads of innovative and successful businesses located in Ellesmere Port and some really lovely areas so we commissioned new photography to be used in all the marketing collateral to dispel current misconceptions about the area. In addition, we created a very strong brand identity that has been applied to the micro-site, brochure and advertisements to ensure a co-ordinated approach to Ellesmere Port’s marketing materials.”
