The Drum has learned that Whyte and Mackay has appointed Elmwood Edinburgh to redesign its packaging for Scotch whisky liqueur Glayva.

The agency has been tasked with the creation of a new summer campaign which will see the creation of the identity and trade kit which will also include point of sale material and accompanying microsite.

It is understood that the material will roll out in the middle of May.

A spokesperson for Glayva confirmed the appointment: “We can confirm that Elmwood is working on a package redesign and refit for Glayva which will contemporise and premiumise the brand but it is still very early days. There are a raft of very different designs being looked at but at the moment the date for a relaunch is yet to be confirmed.”
