The Drum to upgrade web servers to match growthThe Drum to upgrade web servers to match growth

The Drum is to upgrade its web servers as a result of a huge growth in traffic since the site relaunched a year ago.

The new servers will allow The Drum to put in place a program of improvements to its network of sites which include dadiawards.com, chipshopawards.com, marketingindustrynetwork.com, scottisheventawards.net as well as thedrum.co.uk itself.

The site move will take place after 5pm on Friday and The Drum apologises to users who experience a disruption to service during this time.

Not the biggest news of the year I would agree. We just wanted to let you know there would be a temporary disruption to service :)
