Stirling-based Pocket Rocket Creative has been appointed as the primary below-the-line agency for The Famous Grouse Global Brand Team at Edrington in Perth.

Pocket Rocket, which already works with the whisky brand, will now handle a range of on-trade and off-trade promotional activity across the global markets. The scope of the appointment also includes several packaging projects.

Meanwhile, Pocket Rocket has created a new range of packaging for Douglas Laing & Co. in Glasgow.

The McGibbon's Provenance range of Single Malt Scotch Whiskies is a small batch selection of malts with no colouring and is un-chill filtered (see gallery, left). There are four in the series that represent each season of whisky distillation.

The first roll out includes Single Malts from Arran, Caol Ila, Tomore and Laphroaig distilleries.

Fred Laing, managing director of the whisky firm, said: "With 40 years experience in the Scotch Whisky industry working regularly with design agencies this is undoubtedly our best and most professional experience. Their personnel “live and breathe” Scotch Whisky and fully understood our remit, requirements and the position of the brand in the market."
