The East Kilbride Shopping Centre has appointed Frame as its advertising agency following a three-way-pitch.

The Glasgow based agency will work on a number of marketing initiatives which will span TV, radio and print advertising as well as in-store and digital.

The account was previously handled by Baber Smith in London.

Meanwhile, the agency has also hired Cathy Hutton as senior copywriter on a full time basis. Hutton had been working at Frame on a freelance contract but has now been taken on permanently to partner art director Eilidh MacDonald.

Hutton previously worked at Bates and M&C Saatchi in London before joining the Leith Agency in 2007.

She has worked on high profile campaigns for British Airways, ITV and Channel 4 and while at The Leith Agency co-wrote the award-winning “If” TV spot for Irn-Bru.

Angus Walker, creative director at Frame commented; “Cathy is a real talent. She’s been responsible for some fantastic work and has worked at some very good agencies. Above all, she’s just got a brilliant collaborative way of working. We’re delighted she’s chosen to make Frame her permanent home”
