CBS Outdoor creates sound poster campaign for BBC

CBS Outdoor has launched a campaign in partnership with BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra with posters that also play sound to communters.

The Sonic sites contain ‘music chips’ that play classical music to enhance commuters’ experience whilst promoting the 2009/2010 Season for the Orchestra.

The campaign has launched its sonic site posters across Scotrail’s six and four sheet formats and will run for six weeks.

Chris Terris, key account manager at CBS Outdoor, commented: “This is a UK first for CBS Outdoor - combining vision and sound on our six and four sheets. We are always looking at innovative ways to allow our clients to capture and captivate consumers on the move. BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra wanted to match its creative with sound and we have worked with them to achieve this.”

The Media Shop handled media planning and buying for the campaign.
